Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival

The Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival is March 15-17. This is a great bike destination! You can save the hassle and cost of parking a car. Bike valet services will be offered by the City of Winter Park and Leadership Winter Park. Both are pinned on the map below. There may be other locations. I’ll add them as I learn of them. Bike valet is a great alternative to locking up to a bike rack, since you can leave your panniers and accessories on the bike.

The map contains some route suggestions from various parts of town. These use the most quiet streets possible. Of course, you are not limited to quiet streets. You can drive your bike on any non-freeway road. For most routes of any distance in Orlando, you can stick to quiet streets for most of it, but usually have to make some connection using a busy road. Using signal timing (turn right on green) can help you get the road to yourself and make a short ride on an arterial easy.*
