Spokes People — Bike-umentary

Yay! It’s finally on Youtube!

Two years ago, Nic Cristie came to town to shoot his film school thesis — a story of people using bikes for transportation in our “dangerous” city. I set him up with Rodney and Jesse. He also shot some footage of a Bike Bus ride — Jason, Kitzzy and me on University Blvd.

As an apprentice at Seidler Productions, Nic also had access to interview footage from the FBA Law Enforcement Toolkit. The interview footage of me is from that project.

I’m listed as an assistant producer, but I really just gave Nic some contact names and numbers and an overview of transportation cycling as he began the project. With that, he made a great little film about the many benefits, and some of the challenges, of using a bike for transportation.
