Start a Bike Pool! – Commute Orlando

Our friends over at reThink have modified their ride-matching system to add a “Bike Buddy” option. So now you can sign up and offer to ride along with other potential bike commuters.

My suggestion for Orlando area CommuteOrlando readers:

1. Sign up at reThink here. It’s free and there’s no commitment.

2. If you’re on Facebook or Twitter, tell your local friends about the new option. While you may not have friends who live near you who would share your commute route, they may live near other CommuteOrlando readers. Let them know about reThink’s Emergency Ride Home program to sweeten the offer.

One by one we can make metro Orlando a better place to live by getting our friends and neighbors on bikes.
