Pet Parade and Bicycle Ride

If you love dogs and bicycles, don’t miss this event! Join Central Florida Tails and the crazy haulaholics from Commute Orlando for a Petical Mass ride from Pet Smart to Yucatan Dog Park.

Meet us Saturday, Feb 13 at noon at Pet Smart on East Colonial Drive. We’ll roll about 12:30.

The group will ride at an easy pace. We’ll have a lead and sweep rider. Bring a picnic. We’ll let the dogs romp, then head back for a return by 4.

If you’re coming by bike, here are good routes from three directions. If you’d like customized route advice, email me. If you’d like to meet us along the way, check out the route and let us know so we can look for you.

We’re working to round up some extra trailers. If you don’t have a trailer, please let us know and we’ll see if we can find one for you. Children are welcome. Child trailers with children are welcome. Cyclists without dogs are welcome, too! Heck, I don’t have a dog, Diana said she’d loan me one 🙂

A little advice about biking with dogs. Most dogs enjoy riding, but if you have a large dog that has never been in a trailer, you might want to test it out in a controlled environment. A freaked out dog could rip through a fabric trailer and escape.
