When in Seattle last September I had the chance to bike along their new trolley route. I found it pretty easy to negotiate between riding a bike with 1.25″ tires and the track slots being a bit narrower than freight gauge. Saw plenty of other cyclists using that street too. Just a quick snap across the track; rather like a rock dodge maneuver. Not sure I’d recommend it to a novice on a road bike though.
24 inch roller blades…how cool!
The very first Segway! I like that rower at the end best of all though… it almost looked like it worked pretty well!
Thanks for the chuckles.
The rower was my favorite, too!
And the trailer races look like fun. Bike month event ideas…
As the old saying goes: There’s nothing new under the sun.
The only thing I saw that has not been brought back is that freaky bike with the elastic frame and eccentric wheels.
I was impressed at how they maneuvered among the trolley tracks!
Fun!
