The Cycle Map is based on data from the OpenStreetMap project. At low zoom levels it is intended for overviews of the National Cycle Network; at higher zoom levels it should help with planning which streets to cycle on, where you can park your bike and so on. More

Connect the Quiet Streets

This is a collaborative map for metro Orlando cyclists to note existing or potential opportunities to connect networks of low-volume streets. In many cases, there are easements, or simply fences, between trails and streets or between neighborhood streets. Short connections to create permeability for bicycles would allow cyclists (especially families and children) to access more destinations without having to use busy arterial roads. Learn more.

To add pins and lines, click the link below the map to go to GoogleMaps. Use green pins and/or lines to indicate existing “secret” connections that allow cyclists (and pedestrians) to connect quiet streets. Use blue pins and/or lines to identify opportunities to create new connections. Please type the city or area into the marker title.

Thank you for your input! Together we are making Metro Orlando better and better for cycling.

Bike Parking

Below is a user generated collaborative Bike Parking map, designed to help Bicyclists plan their routes,
and park their bikes on secure racks, rather than a stop sign or a tree. Here are the instructions for using it:
