Let’s be festive! Decorate your bike for the December 7 First Friday ride. Battery-powered Christmas lights can be found at Home Depot. There are other fun items, like neon wires and spoke lights. Put on a string of lights, build a trailer float, or just come enjoy the ride with us. You can even show your decorations off two days in a row — December 8 is the New Hope for Kids ride.

Cycling Savvy is an innovative traffic cycling course developed in Orlando Florida and now taught in cities around the country. The course teaches the principles of Mindful Bicycling. It will give you the skills and understanding of the roadway to go anywhere by bike.
I love the lights! They remind me of the “Bicycle Lights Fairy” in the latest Dutch public safety campaign. Yes, it is that time of the year again. And I rather admire the Dutch safety campaigns for their positive tone to encourage safety. See:
