From the bottom of my heart to the support of cyclists in the road (I'm not a cyclist yet, but will be getting one despite my visual impairment even though I can see pretty good to navigate through streets as a pedestrian), thanks for such a wonderful story!

In two words, "well said."

Very well said! Even after riding avidly for over 30 years, I've learned a great deal from your blog. Thanks again for all of your hard work and bridge-building.

What a wonderful article! I like it. We need more stories like this. I left a short comment with a bit of my story.

Here it is.

"Wonderful article! I ride my bike to get to work, church and the grocery store. I follow every law and always exercise my legal right to the road by riding in the center of the right lane. I try to be a civil, polite road user by always riding in a straight line and signaling every turn.

In Florida law, driving a car is a privilege, but riding a bicycle is a right. I strongly urge everyone to get on a bike and exercise their rights in a civil, polite way."
