Philadelphia is installing some similar visual tricks (but not art) to city streets as an option to road-humps. Fake 1' diameter pothole decals were being tried somewhere else (as a study). Along with new bike lanes and bicycle paths. Expect severe cutbacks in the Parks and Recreation budgets and road department too. In some cities, there is nothing left over when the generous retirement plans for city employees are funded.
