Found a cool clip on YouTube.  This should eliminate 99% of the honks!

    So it wouldn’t really result in noise abatement.

    A pistol holster on the back of the waist always seemed most promising to me. In plain view of the motorist… easy to draw and shoot… doesn’t clutter up your bike’s lines…
