Too much fun! We spent at least an hour a week there until they kicked us out. (Yes, on our road bikes. Our sew-up racing tires and everything!) That summer we spent many a day finding fire roads and nature trails to challenge our skills. We ended up with scrapes and bruises, bent wheels and a high confidence in our bike handling skills. Just as you did, andrewp! A bicycle motor-cross park opened near us, so on a lark, we took a few laps on our road bikes. Too much fun!
