cyclist response time test zone ahead
Bunny hop!
I see an I-10 sign. Is this Jax, Tallahassee, Pensacola…?
It’s US 98, Gulf Breeze (Pensacola).
Bike Lane ends……NOW!
BMX ramp ahead
WTF!!!
What would make this picture better is a dead animal with one of those bicycle lane stripes painted over it

“OK, kids! Recess is over!”

“Welcome to the back of the bus.”
or perhaps…
“You’re traveling through another dimension — a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That’s a signpost up ahead: your next stop: the Bikelane Zone!”
Caption: “We didn’t know what to do here.”
“But whatever you do, don’t merge into the travel lane too early, that’s a solid line there, buster!”
Imagine a yellow rectangular traffic sign that reads:
WARNING
TRAFFIC IQ TEST
IN PROGRESS
“…When bike lanes are made by amateurs.”
Full employment act for wheelbuilders & EMTs ahead

(click on the website link for the editorial)

Ah yeah. There’s been quite the flurry of emails about that editorial. I’ve been silent so far because my thoughts on it contain too many f-bombs.
HA, Ha, HA, and YOU thought you were “SAFE”.
