What a blast!
Our Pink Bike Bus started from Lake Howell & Howell Branch at 7:30 a.m. sharp with 3 Flamingos and 2 BOBbies. We picked up 2 more BOBbies en route. There were lots of thumbs-up from motorists today. ‘Cause hey, we looked hot!
We rolled into College Park at 8:10 to find an already large crowd. According to Lyndy Moore, the count was ~85 cyclists to accompany Mayor Dyer to City Hall. The best crowd ever!
With an OPD escort (every group ride should have one!), we enjoyed a leisurely social ride down Edgewater Drive and Orange Avenue.
After the official ride, the Pink Bus headed out to B3 for a delicious brunch. Then some of us actually went to work.
